| ‘Dual Force’

| All of the base area is used for
initial compaction of the material. At this stage the
action is the same as a standard plate compactor. |
As the material is compacted the
plate rides up to use the second base area. At this
point the machine gives 3 to 4 times the compaction
force of a standard plate. |

Dual Force has been
developed to enable plate compactors to comply with
UK highway reinstatement specifications (NRSWA –
New Roads and Streetworks Act, Appendix A8).
Dual Force is only available from
Belle Group. The design is protected worldwide and in
the UK by Patent No. 2261840. |
